Meetings are great, goodbyes bring sadness, even when they are expected and bring a new life for those leaving.
This past week has been a tremendous journey of growth for me. The ability to meet and spend time with people I have met here is a gift that keeps on giving. Giving the opportunity for community, sharing story and making new memories. I am truly blessed.
I started working at a bookstore this week, and feel a bit "whelmed". Everyone is younger than I am, and the idea of asking to go to the rest room, is a bit high schoolish for me. I am supposed to start my second masters degree this next week, and will need time to process that. I think I really need a break from all the push and pull of the world.
The best news this week was my daughter was able to secure employment in her field (mental health counseling) after 4 months of interviews and emotional ups and downs. She will now be able to save and find her own place, and she will be a lot happier as well..
The seasons of our lives...the new beginnings, the winters of discontent, the release of autumn and the summers of fresh strawberries and reuniting with friends.
Life is beautiful.
And so are you all.
Namaste,
Aley

just remember this blog when you're in a bitchy mood
Indeed maze…
I quit the damn job this afternoon…too much work for so little money
Love to read your adventures, thoughts and inspiration served up with a dash of reality humour…
Well now I would like to taste one of those fresh strawberries…
Enjoy your rest and drift away from all that pushing and pulling my friend…
Much love to you…
You are beautiful, too, dear heart.
Love
Dana
Thanks ange and Dana…your comments here are a blessing to me today and always!

More of us should quit things when they don't feel right rather than hanging on and getting grumpier by the day. imagine how much less road-rage there'd be.
Congratulations and good luck on your second masters studies.
I needed to be reminded that life is indeed beautiful. Even the tears. Thanks for your writing. And I think quitting the bookstore was a good idea. You're on a totally different path.
otter: I guess it is also a pattern. If it does not feel good, I get out. That is why I have had so many damn jobs! LOL
Samme: Thanks, not sure if I am being smart or silly on this…need to delay some student loan payments for now, so this was the only way to do it!
Remerdre: Tears are often just what we need to shed when we are in transition. They cleanse our souls and allow our eyes a fresh perspective through clean lenses!
love to all!
A.
