This is in Response to the Questions and Reflections for June 29, 2008:
Puberty
Raging hormones, pimples, definace and attitude!
YUK
Eruptions!
At least America is this way. And it is really tiresome.
Starting and picking fights,
needing to "fit in" and be in the "in crowd"
and so much resistance to change!
Cannot wait until we are at the stage when we look back and say:
" Mom was right most of the time after all".
But when???

yes you are so right aley….so right…we are going backwards…not forward at all!~~the only ones who are going forward are the remnant that live by Gods precepts…the rest have taken, robbed this baby called the universe and all of its resources, havne't even said
'thank you' or acknowledged the gift that it is, and have basically exploited it selfishly..because after all, we are 'entitled, no??
hoping we can pick up the pieces…
I'm in Puberty standby Ms. Aley…. still waiting for things to pop up and grow… I think I shall be 5 feet and forever in blue jeans, babe..
A large number of Humans are holding on to the old ways.
I do see many hopeful signs of the Birth of a New Earth for the evolution of the human race.
Time for Parental sides of comforting, compassion, understanding of the developmental stages and down right irritating. Again, those adult children and teens who KEEP doing all those things they know are not helping us make it more healthy for all of us as a Human Race sharing this Planet with other life forms. How much light do we have to hold for everyone? Those kids are still making messes and we are still being parental. That is what we signed up for and we get to play too.
Birthing is painful. Anyone who says it is not either has not experienced it, was numbed through the process, lifted themselves out of their body or used other methods not to feel their body or simply has not done it. It hurts. It also brings such bliss and joy that you forget about the pain for awhile. You don't really forget it like they tell you when you are pregnant for the first time. It is all worth it! Even when the other stuff comes later that is not so fun. You know what I mean if you have raised kids. What a challange for the Ego and a beautiful way to be pointed to more deep of I AM.
Humanity if Birthing a New Human Race NOW.

I used to think it would take some major disaster or attack to wake us up, but I think we've gotten worse since 9/11. I do try to be positive, but I have to wonder if we humans aren't just destined to destroy ourselves.
Thanks so much fo your comments everyone. I vacillate between angst and anger when I think about what it is we continue to do to our earth mother. We wear and tear on it, we pollute it with toxins and we rail against change that would “cost us too much” monetarily. But the cost is going to be felt in loss of breath soon if we do not follow Gore's admonitions from his book/movie…a powerful watch/read for me.

I have heard that the problem is all of the meat…but like i said, if we followed Gods command to refrain from business and everyday work, we would have given the land to rest over these 5000 plus years and the land would be in much safer condition right now..
think about that…one day a week only is what God ordained for giving both us and our land a rest…
God is smart…we are dumb..
and this is what we made….a selfish mess.
Gore's book, movie and great energy has made changes. Oprah, Leonardo Di Caprio and other people who have influence with consciousness of many are speaking up to assist.
Intention, attention, action and prayer are some things I am doing.
We are a Human Race made it and contribted to it ALL.

Anger moves us to make changes. When we direct it for the good of ALL we are the change.

Thanks ladies…yes, we need to make changes, first in ourselves and then the dominos need to tip in the direction of love for everyone!
When I saw that question, I thought of the same - adolescence, at least for America. We are a big bully, entitled to have anything we want so long as we can take it, and our growing pains affect our whole family (humanity).
I was watching the movie Hotel Rwanda last night (not the first time), and I was sobbing - how can humans do these things to one another? I hope I never understand. It's not just there, we do it here in our own streets too. Micro/Macro. We are all one organism.
Accorning to Nostradamus, we will have a world-wide spiritual revival in 2028 (I can see that growing already), and by 2079 the triumph of a benevolent world order.
Maybe we will have a growth spurt soon and reach some point of maturity.
wouldn't that be nice…
