What pattern has characterized your life recenty?

This is in Response to the Questions and Reflections for June 28, 2008:
I took a class on Pattern recognition a few years ago and it was fascinating! It taught me many things, but one of the most important is that whatever happens at the inception of a situation, or a meeting will continue to happen, and for us to be frustrated wanting it to change or be different is self defeating.
The biggest area of positive patterning for me has been as an online instructor! It makes so much sense really. I met Keith in a writers forum online, I found you all here at Zaadz/Gaia and so my community is here in a large sense, and now I teach online. It is a whole separate universe!
The course is offically over as of yesterday, although I am finishing grading papers. I had a bit of reticence initially, as I love to be in front of a class, but this experience proved to be powerful beyond measure! In the fall, I will teach 4 sections of courses for them via the internet.
In a college classroom, people rarely want to talk, or yu get the one who loves to talk each time. Most are afraid they will say the wrong things. This experience has seen them not only respond and comment, but actually help each other and express kudos to the other classmates for their take on a reading and their responses. They were all as skeptical as I was, but the past three days have all expressed appreciation and gratitude for a new learning experience! This was gratifying to me....
So, my pattern seems to be to make connections with others online, and later meet them in the flesh and "reunite" in friendship. This is what a psychic once told me would be working from home and having others come to you there....!
What a glorious time we live in when we can befriend and teach others all across the planet!
If you told me 10 years ago this is what I'd be doing, I'd have laughed, but now I do not doubt there are many more things that I will do that at one time seemed impossible!
I love this pattern....it is spirals, swirls and circles....surrounded by immense webs of chatter, and virtual hugs!

And yes, wow. Internet is amazing. We can beam up instantly (in a sense) and we're telepathic on here, LOL.
Remember back in the day of snail mail, when we had to wait days and days to see each others photos and messages? Yeah, WOW :-D Times have changed, and I anticipate with excitement how they will change in times to come.~~~<3

Ariela…snail mail sucked as far as transit time went, but loved the personalized written word…and anticipation of more than bills in the mail…lol.
The pattern class was given by a man from the Asissi foundation from Vermont. I went to a seminar in Texas at the Jung institute! They probably have one in NYC..check online!

There is definitely a different feeling from getting a lengthy e-mail than a big fat letter in the mail that had to have extra postage on it…just feeling the thickness of the envelope, all excited with the anticipation of sitting down with a juicy letter ;-)
